HBL Home: Who We Are

The aim of HouseBound Learners (HBL) is to provide learning opportunities to home-based students who cannot easily attend courses. These include those who are elderly, frail or disabled or isolated for other reasons (e.g. because they have responsibilities as carers or are socially excluded through low incomes). We operate an equal opportunities policy, and will not exclude anyone on grounds of ethnicity, gender or sexuality.
Founded in 1988, HBL is a registered charity no 802343, serving people in Wandsworth and surrounding London boroughs.
Courses cover a variety of subjects to cater for the demands of home-based students and volunteers.  A subject is systematically taught by a professional tutor.
